With its bars and restaurants the Donauinsel is one of Vienna’s hotspots – enjoy a sundowner at the river Danube after a stressful day at work. The Alte Donau is also home to a sailing school: Take your chance and learn how to sail or enjoy a romantic dinner on one of the many boats during the summertime. Sports enthusiasts love the Donauinsel for jogging and biking. South of the apartment building you’ll find the National Park Donau-Auen. The Donauturm, a famous tourist attraction, is about 15 minutes by bus from your apartment. By bus it takes only 3 minutes to the underground station (U1 Kaisermühlen/ Vienna International Centre) and the United Nations Organization. The city centre is just a 8 minutes drive away with the tube (U1). And one of Vienna’s biggest shopping centres, the Donauzentrum, is literally just around the corner. We merely charge for the final cleaning of the apartment when you move out. Daily housekeeping is included in the rent (except weekend and holidays).
