Description

Renting in the City Campus MAX project Are you looking for a self-contained apartment in Utrecht? Preferably in a dynamic location easily accessible by car or public transport? Are you just completing your studies or starting work? Then the City Campus MAX project is the right place for you. The apartments in the characteristic towers of City Campus MAX meet all these requirements. The MAX complex is located near exit roads and a tram station, and the Utrecht main railway station and the Utrecht Vaartsche Rijn railway station are also nearby. The other tenants in City Campus MAX are for the most part young professionals and the atmosphere in and around MAX is lively. There are ample facilities all round. All of the apartments rented by Wolf Huisvestingsgroep are located in tower 3. Apartments The apartments are studios with a floor space starting at 28m2, specifically designed for young professionals. There are also a couple of one-bedroom apartments with a floor space between 40m2 and 60m2. Each apartment has a living room with open-plan kitchen and also a separate bathroom with a toilet and shower. The apartments are let semi-furnished , with a floor and finished walls. Other than that you can furnish it as you wish. Complex The complex was built in 2009 and is therefore relatively new. The apartments are therefore energy-efficient and all have energy label A. There are many other facilities in the complex, such as lifts and also an indoor bicycle storage space. The complex has a CCTV surveillance system. And, of course, every apartment has its own intercom for the front door. There is even an optical fibre connection, laid right up to the meter cupboard, so you will always have the fastest internet connection. The occupants have access to the shared roof garden with lounge sofas and barbecues. Parking space In addition, each tenant is able to rent a parking space. The parking spaces are in (hidden)ment car park, which is secured by a speed gate. The car park can be accessed by means of a personal pass. The car park also has CCTV. Secure, covered parking space near home If you are interested in a secure parking space for your car or motorbike, the costs are 80 euros per month, including service charges. You can then be certain of a safe parking space specially reserved for you and will not have to keep putting money in the meter outside. And you will not need to be on the waiting list for a permit from the municipal authorities. Selection criteria The general selection criterion is that you are not yet 30 years old on the date of signing. Students There are additional requirements for students. They must be enrolled in a college or university course. By way of proof, a copy of a student card must be uploaded in good time at (hidden website). In addition, a parent or guardian must act as guarantor. A contract of suretyship will be required (see appendix). A copy of an identity document of the parent or guardian is also required. Finally, a copy of a recent payslip, proof of income or proof of assets must be attached. Upload these documents as soon as possible at: (hidden website). Young professionals In the case of young professionals, they must have a job or an income as a business owner. By way of proof, a copy of the employer’s statement or proof of income from their business must be uploaded via: (hidden website). In addition, a young professional must at some point have been enrolled in a college or university course and proof of enrolment or proof of a qualification must also be uploaded at (hidden website) Contract and house rules The tenancy agreements are all for an indefinite period of time and will be entered into for a period of at least one year (NOT a campus contract). After one year, the agreement can be terminated subject to a notice period of one month. Living together is only permitted in the one-bedroom apartments, not in the studios, and only as a couple. Flat-sharing is not permitted. The other rules are the logical rules. You are naturally not permitted to cause a nuisance or damage of any kind. The exact rules are given in detail in the model contract. Please contact us if you have any doubts about anything. Outside the complex In addition to the easy accessibility of City Campus MAX by car, bicycle or public transport, there are many facilities in the surrounding area. There is a Coolblue, Subway and even a Basic-Fit under the building. The Utrecht main railway station and Utrecht city-centre are 10 minutes away by bicycle. The Vaartsche Rijn railway station is even closer by bicycle. The terraces, shops and pubs of Ledig Erf are about 5 minutes from City Campus Max by bicycle. How to book this property

When you find a property you like it's fairly simple to make a booking. Both the tenant and the landlord need to confirm before completing a booking. This is how it works:

  1. Select your dates to check for availability.
  2. If you don't have a subscription yet, you can buy one in a few clicks.
  3. Contact the landlord by clicking on the contact button.
  4. Introduce yourself to the landlord. Ask any questions you might have.
  5. When you are ready to book, send a booking request.
  6. When the landlord approves and the payment is completed, you have successfully booked the property.

You don’t need to perform a viewing on HousingAnywhere, here's why:

  1. All of the properties on HousingAnywhere have pictures and a clear description. If anything is unclear, you can easily reach out to the landlord.
  2. Restricting viewings provides equal chances for everyone, whether you are a local or live abroad.
  3. HousingAnywhere makes sure the property is as advertised, by only sending any money to the landlord after you have successfully moved in.
After you have made a booking, the contact details of the landlord will be shared with you. You can get in touch with the landlord directly, or keep using the HousingAnywhere chat. All the successive rental costs can be paid securely through HousingAnywhere.
