Description

A bright room (15 m2) in the canter of Strasbourg with a private bathroom A bright, newly renovated private room for one person (15 m2) in an Art Nouveau building (district: Neustadt-UNESCO). The room has for ex. a loft bed (140x200 cm, height 176 cm), a coffee table, two armchairs, a desk. Since these old apartments have very high ceilings, you can still sit upright in this bed .The room is equipped with Wi-Fi and can be cooled in the summer with a mobile air conditioning. Our well equipped kitchen is at your disposal. It has a balcony that can be used by smokers. The apartment has two toilettes and two bathrooms. We provide sheets, towels, toilet paper and, if necessary, ironing board and iron. The bathrooms are also equipped with a hair dryer. The washing machine and the dryer can be used for a fee. My husband, Martin and me, Petra are German and have been living in Strasbourg for 14 years. We speak German, English and French and are happy to help and advice you. If you wish to stay longer we will of course help you to get settled. We are renting two rooms; one is the newly renovated room of our daughter (15 m2) who went to study abroad. We are very experienced in accommodating guests, since we rented the romms on Aribnb. Sparky our Labrador half bread is looking forward to all guests .. according to the motto: even more hands that caress me. He is extremely "fond of people", has no bad habits and does not bark. He is not allowed in our guest’s room. We are also very "fond of animals", but we live in an apartment building and visiting animals can lead to difficulties. The room is in a nice old apartment. The multi-family house is in Art Nouveau style and was built in 1905 in what is today the district of Neustadt of Strasbourg. Neustadt was just appointed to the World Cultural Heritage. Just a 15-minute walk from the Cathedra, Petite France, Batorama Pier, the shopping district and many restaurants and bars, this neighbourhood has just been declared a World Heritage Site. Our apartment is located in a quiet and well-kept neighbourhood, where you can move easily at night alone. There are several small supermarkets and bakeries in the immediate vicinity of the apartment and also public parking, which are not free of charge. The nearest bus stop (Bus Number 2, Stop Phalsbourg) is 2 minutes away and the bus goes to the main train station (about 10 minutes). A tram (Parc des Contades) is also nearby (5 minutes walk). Kehl and Offenburg can either be reached by train or Kehl can also be reached by tram. There are several small supermarkets and bakeries in the immediate vicinity of the apartment as well as public parking, which are not free of charge....

How to book this property

When you find a property you like it's fairly simple to make a booking. Both the tenant and the landlord need to confirm before completing a booking. This is how it works:

  1. Select your dates to check for availability.
  2. Contact the landlord by clicking on the contact button.
  3. Introduce yourself to the landlord. Ask any questions you might have.
  4. When you are ready to book, send a booking request.
  5. When the landlord approves and the payment is completed, you have successfully booked the property.

You don’t need to perform a viewing on HousingAnywhere, here's why:

  1. All of the properties on HousingAnywhere have pictures and a clear description. If anything is unclear, you can easily reach out to the landlord.
  2. Restricting viewings provides equal chances for everyone, whether you are a local or live abroad.
  3. HousingAnywhere makes sure the property is as advertised, by only sending any money to the landlord after you have successfully moved in.
After you have made a booking, the contact details of the landlord will be shared with you. You can get in touch with the landlord directly, or keep using the HousingAnywhere chat. All the successive rental costs can be paid securely through HousingAnywhere.
