Hello! Our house is on a quiet road in one of the loveliest areas of Liverpool, close to the Mersey river, Sefton Park and the famous Boho Lark Lane with its restaurants, artists gallery and second hand shops. There are three bathrooms in the house, a sitting room and conservatory. Internet access is fast and washing and drying facilities are available. I have no pets. I have recently taken a job in Dublin, (lecturing in Public Health), so I am only in the house part time. My son lives in the house full time however, and there is a housekeeper who calls in regularly. I am easily contactable if I am not around and very responsive to messages etc. When I am around, my local knowledge on current and historical Liverpool is pretty good, even though I say so myself (humility was never a strong point). I'm a people person, and I love my city so I am always happy to point out the important places to go. I also speak very rusty Spanish if required. The house is close to the train station and the bus routes. Access to the city centre is easy and quick (8 minutes by train, 15 minutes by bus, 25 minutes by bicycle on along the riverfront). I also have a minimum two night stay policy. I'm a keen supporter of live music and as part of that support, I offer a 10% discount on any booking for working musicians. However, we do not take stag or hen parties, no exceptions. We are a non-judgemental household and welcome LGBT people, and people of all nationalities, and colours. Please find somewhere else to stay if you are sexist, or racist, or homophobic. Please note, I also don't do stays of less than five nights. Best room in the house! It's dead cosy and is at the end of the garden, and has it's own kettle and fridge, but doesn't have a toilet, so if you are a frequent visitor, you may prefer to be closer to the bathroom. Short term stays only...
