1. Cancellation and refund policy

You can choose from 2 types of cancellation policies for your listing: Strict and Flexible.

Strict cancellation policy:

If your tenant cancels a booking:

  • within 24 hours of booking your place: they are entitled to a full refund
  • after 24 hours of the booking confirmation and without a valid reason: you can request the payment of the first month's rent

Flexible cancellation policy

If a tenant cancels a booking:

  • more than 30 days before their move-in date: they are entitled to a full refund of the first month’s rent
  • 30 – 7 days before their move-in date: they receive a refund of 50% of the first month’s rent
  • less than 7 days before their move-in date: it's your choice whether to refund the tenant

We ensure that your payment is transferred directly to your bank account 48 hours after the tenant has moved in.

2. Time-saving

Keeping the process online on HousingAnywhere enables you to save time on your rentals. Potential tenants will pay online without the need for in-person viewings.

You can see a complete listing overview and use filters to navigate your bookings and tenants quickly. And real-time messaging allows both parties to view new messages without refreshing the page. With the Quick Replies function, you can even pre-save your answers so that you don't have to type it all out each time!

Your potential tenants can also send you documents (like IDs and contracts) through the attachment feature. So there's no need to exchange email addresses or depend on postal services.

3. Ranking higher & receiving more bookings

HousingAnywhere measures your response time and response rate. These are an important part of the booking process as they show potential tenants that you will respond to their messages. They demonstrate how well you communicate.

A high response rate and a low response time make your profile look more trustworthy. And trustworthy profiles generate more bookings! Plus, quality listings from responsive landlords and property managers rank higher in the search results.

4. Security and peace of mind
